1 GENERELLT

 

§1.1 European Watercross Championship

European Watercross Championship är ett öppet mästerskap. European Watercross Championship genomförs med kvaltävlingar inom Europa, där förare kvalar till finalen som arrangeras i slutet på säsongen.

 

§1.2 ARRANGÖR

European Watercross Championship arrangeras av klubbar och organisationer som främjar snöskotersporten.

För deltagande i European Watercross Championship krävs förarlicens utfärdad av SMA (Svenska Motorsport Alliansen)

 

§1.3 STARTNUMMER och ANMÄLAN

Startnummer ansöker man om på www.racingkompaniet.se

Anmälan sker på www.raceanmalningar.se eller hos respektive arrangör.

Anmälningsavgiften i kvaltävlingarna. Se respektive tävling.

 

EWCC Finalen 23 augusti 2014. ALLA måste anmäla sig via www.raceanmalningar.se

Anmälningsavgiften är 250 SEK och betalas vid anmälan på tävlingsdagen med uppvisande av gällande SMA licens eller lösen av engångslicens.

 

§1.4 KLASSER.

EWCC European Watercross Championship genomförs bara i klassen. Open Mod.

Maskinreglemente skall överensstämma med respektive lands reglemente där tävlingen genomförs.

Överladdning och tillskottsbränsle är tillåtet i European Watercross Championship.

Fritt bränsle, skall dock vara blyfritt.

 

 

2. TÄVLINGENS GENOMFÖRANDE

 

§2.1 BANA

Bana skall innehålla både höger och vänsterkurvor. Banlängd max 1000 m.

Bana bör läggas så det inte är djupare än 5 m.

Banan kan innehålla hopp.

Banan skall bojas med gul/ flouriserande färg och ytterligare en färg i kurvor samt vit boj som markerar alternativspår.

Boj skall vara minst 60 cm hög.

Kvaltävling kan genomföras med matchrace eller heat med flera startande.

European Watercross Championship Final genomförs med 4 startande i varje heat.

 

§2.2 ALTERNATIVSPÅR

Ett alternativspår kan finnas. Alternativ spåret skall vara längre och belägen på utsidan av ordinarie bansträckning.

Alternativ spåret måste tas minst en gång per heat. Om inte, uteslutning ur heatet.

 

§2.4 DEPÅOMRÅDE

Maskindepå område skall finnas tillgänglig där varje förare har rätt till 3x3 meters yta.

Depån bör vara öppen för publik under paus.

Varje förare får entréband till 2 stycken mekaniker som gäller för fri passage till maskindepå.

 

 

§2.5 STARTOMRÅDE

Startområde skall ha sandbädd. Startområdets bredd skall vara minst 2 meter / antalet startande.

Detta skall vara VÄL avspärrat för publik. Upline skall vara i direkt anslutning till startområdet.

Skylt med heatnr skall finnas vid upline väl synlig från maskindepå.

 

§2.6 BÄRGNING

Vid bärgning av maskinen med bärgningsflotte SKALL maskinen lyfts rakt upp till vattenytan. Man bör ha minst två bärgningsflottar på tävling där man skall bärga alla förare mellan heatomgångarna.

Om det är så grunt samt jämn och fin sandbotten att en fyrhjuling kan åka ut i vattnet och bärga skotern. Så kan det vara ett alternativ.

Det skall framgå i Tilläggsreglerna OM bärgning sker mellan heat omgångar eller om man är utesluten vid sänkning. Bärgning av skotrar skall alltid påbörjas under tävlingen.

Vid bärgning har man 15 minuter på sig att starta upp maskinen.

 

Vid EWCC Finalen gäller uteslutning ur tävling vid sänkning. Under kvalomgång 2 och 3.

 

 

§2.7 BESIKTNING

Besiktning av maskinen skall alltid genomföras innan tävling.

Besiktning av personlig utrustning som kniv, ryggskydd, flytväst, hjälm, skor och anpassad klädsel skall göras i upline inför varje heat.

 

§2.8 SPORTSLIGT UPPTRÄDANDE

Förbjudet med avsiktlig kontakt (påkörning och liknande) mellan skotrarna.

Bestraffning: Uteslutning ur heat. 0 poäng.

Förbjudet med gester eller uttalanden som kan anses vara olämpligt/osportsligt uppträdande.

Bestraffning: Uteslutning ur tävling och rapport till förbundet Svensk-Racing för ev annan bestraffning som penningböter, återkallelse av licens, startförbud.

 

 

 

3. PERSONLIG UTRUSTNING

 

§3.1 FLYTVÄST

Flytväst skall vara godkänd för förarens vikt.

 

§3.2 SKOR

Skall vara av motorcross eller snowboard typ.

 

§3.3 HJÄLM

Skall vara CE godkänd och med hakskydd och ha minst 50% fluorescerande yta.

Foliering är tillåtet.

 

§3.4 GOOGLES

Skyddsglasögon skall användas under tävling.

 

§3.5 RYGGSKYDD

CE märkt ryggskydd skall användas under eller över flytväst.

 

§3.6 KNIV

Skall bäras under tävling. Kniven skall vara av typ som är gjord för att kapa rep och bälten utan vass spets. Kniven skall vara väl förankrad i sin slida samt på ett säkert sätt spännas fast lättåtkomligt vid en paniksituation.

 

 

4. SÄKERHET

 

§4.1 BRANDSLÄCKARE

Brandsläckare skall finnas både i mitten av depån och vid starten.

 

§4.2 DYKARE

Arrangören skall ha en dykare som skall vara dykklar ute på vattnet under tävlingen om vattendjupet överstiger 2 m. Dykare ska hålla information under förarsammanträde.

 

 

5 START OCH RESULTAT

 

§5.1

Lampa eller flaggstart skall användas.

 

§5.2 TJUVSTART

Vid tjuvstart skall föraren som tjuvstartat lägga sig sist i heatet varpå han sedan får köra som vanligt efter det. Starten skall vid varvning hålla upp en skylt med startnr på den som tjuvstartat.

 

 

6 MASKIN KLASSER

 

§6.1 OPEN MOD

Fri volym.

Fri trimning.

Tillåtet med överladdning och/eller bränsletillskott.

Fri bränsle. SKALL vara blyfritt.

 

§6.2 MATTA

Valfri standard drivmatta får användas. Endast nerskärning av kammar är tillåtet som modifiering.

 

§6.3 BROMS

Effektiv färdbroms skall finnas.

 

§6.4 VARIATORSKYDD

Variatorskydd skall finnas och vara tillfredställande och ordentligt fastsatt. Original räknas som tillfredställande.

 

§6.5 CHASSI

Modifiering är tillåtet. DOCK är inga fenor eller övrigt som kan hjälpa till med fästet tillåtet.

Lyftbåge fram och bak skall finnas monterad.

Fri utformning av framvagn.

Fri utformning av boggie.

Ej tillåtet med extra flytkraft eller ersättning av dyna som hjälper maskinen att flyta.

 

§6.6 HÅL OCH KANTER

Vassa kanter och större hål skall skyddas eller täckas för att undvika skada på förare.

Hål i färdriktningen som är så stora att man kan få in en hand skall täckas med material av samma hållfasthet som materialet runt hålet.

 

§6.7 SKIDOR OCH STYRSTÅL

Skidorna bör vara utan styrstål om hopp används. Cormant är inte tillåtet. Skidans kanter skall vara rundade så man inte kan skära sönder flytväst remmar och kläder.

 

§6.8 BÄRGNINGSBOJ

En markerings boj med rep UTAN knutar skall finnas på skotern.

Det skall finnas en självutlösare av repet/bojen om snöskotern sjunker. Repet skall klara minst 800kg. Längd på repet skall stå i inbjudan.

 

§6.9 STÄNKSKYDD

Stänkskydd skall användas på maskinen. När förare sitter på maskinen skall stänkskyddet vara max 10cm från marken. Original stänkskydd bör användas.

 

§6.10 PALLBOCK

En pallbock skall Alltid användas vid varmkörning av skotern. Pallbocken skall ha täckt baksida minst 50cm hög.

Om maskin hålls uppe utan pallbock med roterande matta. Skall föraren omedelbart uteslutas ur tävlingen.

En hand på bromsen skall alltid finnas.

Nödstoppen skall vara kopplad.

 

§6.11 NÖDSTOPP

En fungerande nödstopp skall vara monterad på samtliga maskiner. Lina till nödstoppen skall fästas på ett betryggande sätt i föraren då maskinen är igång.

 

 

7 MILJÖARBETE

 

§7.1 BRÄNSLETANK

Varje maskin skall ha försluten bränsletank med ansluten backventil (envägsventil) på avluftningen. Så att bränsle inte läker ut i vattnet.

 

§7.2 MILJÖMATTA

Miljömatta skall alltid användas under maskin i maskindepån. Minst 80cm*120cm.

 

§7.3 KÄRL FÖR SPILLVÄTSKA

Uppsamlingskärl på minst 400 Liter skall alltid finnas för Tex olja, bensin i maskindepån.

 

§7.4 SOPKÄRL

Sopkärl skall finnas utställda i depå.

 

 

 

 

REGULATIONS EUROPEAN WATER CROSS CHAMPIONSHIP

 

1 GENERALLY

 

§ 1.1 European Water Cross Championship EWCC

European Water Cross Champinship is an open championship. European Water Cross Championship conducted with qualifying competitions in Europe, where drivers qualify for the finals to be held at the end of the season.

 

§ 1.2 ORGANIZER

European Water Cross Championship is organized by clubs and organisors that like the snowmobile sport.

For participation in the European Water Cross Championship requires driver license issued by SMA Swedish Motorsport Alliance.

§ 1.3 STARTING NUMBER (BIB) and RACE REGISTRATION

Bib apply at www.racingkompaniet.se

Race registration must be made at www.raceanmalningar.se to each contest.

(Race registration to the European Water Cross Championship Finals is not done automatically.)

The registration fee is 250 SEK and will be payed raceday at registration on race track, with the presentation of a current license or a Weekend license.

 

 

2.RACE IMPLEMENTATION

 

§ 2.1 RACE TRACK

The race track shall include both left and right curves. Course length up to 1000 m

The race track should be placed so it is not deeper than 5 m

The race track may contain jumps.

Curves is marked whit buoys.

One (1) buoy at the right-hand curve and a pair (2) buoys for a left-hand curve.

EWCC Qualifying races can be conducted with head-to-head race or heats with four starters.

European Water Cross Championship Final will be raced whit four (4) drivers in each heat and whit three (3) rounds, LCQ and the final

 

§ 2.2 ALTERNATIVE TRACK

There can be an alternative track. Alternative track is longer and located on the outside of the ordinary track alignment.

Alternative track must be taken at least once per heat. Otherwise, one obtains zero points in the race.

 

§ 2.3 CLASSES.

European Water Cross Championship implemented only in class. Open Mod.

Machine Regulations shall comply with the local regulations where the competition takes place.

Overcharging and additional fuel is allowed in the European Water Cross Championship.

Free fuel, shall be unleaded.

 

§ 2.4 PIT AREA

Pit area must be available where each driver has the right to the 3x3 meter.

The pit should be open to the audience during breaks between the rounds.

Each driver gets two PitPass for the Crew to make sure they have free passage to the Pit.

The driver is allowed to buy more PitPasses.

 

 

§ 2.5 START AREA

Starting area shall have a bed of sand. Start area's width should be at least 2 meters / number of starters.

This area should be WELL cordoned off to the public. Upline will be right next to the start area.

Sign with heatnr must be at upline easily visible from the Pit.

 

§ 2.6 SALVAGE

The salvage of the machine WILL organizer ensure that the machine is lifted straight up to the surface. With salvage raft. One should have at least two towing rafts in races where you must salvage all drivers between heat rounds.

It must be evident in the additional rules ABOUT salvage occurs between heats/rounds or if you are excluded when sink (going down). Salvage of sleds should always start during breaks in the race.

At the European Water Cross Championship Final shall exclusions apply when sink. (going down)

The salvaged driver has 15 minutes to start up the sled from the last sled has been salvaged.

 

§ 2.7 INSPECTION

Inspection of the snowmobiles must always be completed before the contest.

 

§ 2.8 SPORTING CONDUCT

Prohibits intentional contact (collisions and the like) between the snowmobiles.

Punishment: Exclusion from the heat. 0 points.

Prohibited with gestures or statements which may be considered inappropriate / unsportsmanlike behavior.

Punishment: Exclusion from the competition and report to the Federation of Swedish-Racing for any other punishment as monetary fines, revocation of license, grounded.

 

 

3 PERSONAL EQUIPMENT

 

§ 3.1 LIFEJACKET

Life jackets must be approved for the driver's weight.

 

§ 3.2 SHOES

Must be of motorcross or snowboard type.

 

§ 3.3 HELMET

Should be CE approved and with chin guard and have at least 50% fluorescent surface.

Foiling is allowed.

 

§ 3.4 GOGGLES

Protective goggles should be worn during competition.

 

§ 3.5 BACK PROTECTOR

CE certified back protector must be used under or over the life jacket.

 

§ 3.6 KNIFE

Must be worn during competition. The knife must be of a type that is used for cutting straps and belts whiyout sharp tip, the knife should be well grounded in the knife holder and safely strapped, where it easyli can be reatched in a panic situation.

 

 

4. SECURITY

 

§ 4.1 FIRE EXTINGUISHER

Fire extinguishers shall be provided both in the center of the pit, and at the start.

 

§ 4.2 DIVER

The organizer must have a diver in a boat, ready to dive out on the water during the race. IF the water depth exceeds 1.5 m

 

 

5 START AND RESULTS

 

§ 5.1

Lamp or flag start to be used.

At flag start regards:

When it is ready for start, the starter make the go-ahead sign, so that drivers can see that it is ready to start.

During the startup process the starter hold down the flag after/against the leg.

The starter will point on all drivers with the hand and get clearance.

After getting claerence from all drivers the starter lower the hand all the way to down to the legs. Before he pull the starting flag whitin 5 seconds.

"Snatches" or jumping the gun a driver has passed the start and the starter will immediately raise the flag.

 

§ 5.2 FALSE START. (Jumping the gun)

When false start, the driver who jumped the gun has to slow down and get in the last place in the race, which he then may run as usual after that. The starter or the headpost will hold up a sign with the starting number that made the false start.

 

 

6 MACHINE CLASSES

 

§ 6.1 OPEN MOD

Free volume.

Free modification of ignition, porting, pipes. Engine block and crankchaft must come from a snowmobile.

Permitted with supercharging and / or fuel supplement.

Free fuel. MUST be Unleaded.

 

§ 6.2 DRIVE TRACKS

Optional standard tracks may be used. Only down cutting the profile is allowed as modify.

 

§ 6.3 BRAKES

Efficient brakes shall be provided.

 

§ 6.4 DRIVEBELT COVER

Drivebelt cover has to be available and satisfactorily and properly affixed. Original cover counted as satisfactory.

 

§ 6.5 CHASSIS

Modification is permitted. HOWEVER, no fins or other material that can help with the bracket allowed.

Lifting handles in the front and rear must be mounted.

Free design of front suspension.

Free design of rear suspension.

Not allowed extra buoyancy or replacement of cushion that helps the machine to float.

(it may cause accidents if it will stay on surface)

 

§ 6.6 HOLE AND RIMS

Sharp edges and major holes has to be protected or covered to avoid damage to the driver.

Hole in the driving direction that is so big that you can put part of a hand into. Has to be covered with material that has the same strength as the material around the hole.

 

§ 6.7 SKIS AND RUNNERS

The skis should be whitout runners if jump is used. Carbide runners is not allowed. The skis edges shall be rounded so you can´t cut or damage life jacket straps and clothing.

 

§ 6.8 BUOJ

A marker buoy with rope WITHOUT knots should be attached to the snowmobile. Please mark the buoy whit the bib.

There shall be a self-timer of the rope / buoy if snowmobile go down. The rope shall have a strength of at least 800kg. Length of rope shall be in invitation.

 

§ 6.9 SNOWFLAPS

Water(snow)Flaps should be used on the sled. When the driver sits on the sled, the protection guard is max 10cm from the ground. The flaps should have belts fitted, to prevent the flaps to stand straight out.

 

§ 6.10 RUNNING STANDS

A stand must always be used during warm-up whit rotating track of the snowmobile. The stand has to have covered back at least 50cm high.

If the machine is held up without a stand with rotating track. The driver WILL immediately be disqualified from the race.

One hand on the brake and the emergency stop shall be connected to the operator.

 

§ 6.11 EMERGENCY

A functioning emergency stop shall be installed on all machines. The rope for emergency stop shall be attached in a secure manner in the driver when the snowmobile is running.

 

7 ENVIRONMENTAL

 

§ 7.1 FUEL TANK

Each machine must have sealed fuel tank with attached check valve (one way valve) on venting. So that the fuel does not leak out in the water.

 

§ 7.2 ENVIRONMENTAL CARPET

Environment carpet should always be used under the sled in the Pit. At least 80cm * 120cm.

 

§ 7.3 VESSEL FOR LIQUID WASTE

Collecting vessels of at least 400 Litres should always be for ex. oil, gasoline in the Pit.
